Reading Success is a six-book series of short reading passages designed to help middle school students develop reading fluency in English. Written by Ken Methold and Pieter Koster, each book in this series contains a variety of reading genres to expose students to a range of texts including stories, diaries, letters, charts and graphs, dialogs, speeches, and advertisements.

Each reading is accompanied by a vocabulary review exercise, multiple-choice reading comprehension questions, and a model summary of the passage in which students fill in blanks with key vocabulary. Vocabulary and grammar structure of each reading passage is controlled to provide students at an early stage of English reading development with a text written at a comfortable level to practice reading fluency.
